The database AUBLET2 stores information about botanical specimens collected in the Guianas, mainly in French Guiana, and hosted in " Herbier de Guyane (CAY)", in Cayenne, French Guiana. It aims to manage the herbarium, and to provide basic information to any user. Moreover, selected informations can be provided upon request.

The database is managed and updated in Cayenne under the direction of Sophie Gonzalez, Curator of the Herbarium.

The use of the Aublet2 botanical database is free. The Aublet2 database and its associated website is a work in progress and has been under development for 30 years. Therefore, it has to be cited when used, even partially, for any kind of publications, including research activities, expertises, impact studies and other publications. The proposed citation is the following :
